🔼 Staying Close To Home. The 2024 MLS SuperDraft took place last night and our very own Beau Leroux was drafted 42nd overall by the San José Earthquakes! The hometown kid won’t be going anywhere. He was a 2022 All-WAC First Team selection and a 2021 WAC All-Freshman Team selection. He also received United Soccer Coaches All-Far West Region honors in 2022.

🔼 Monday’s Matinee. The women’s basketball team took down CSUN, 70-53, on Monday during a 12 o’clock game at their place. Three Spartans scored in double figures with Jyah LoVett leading the team with 17 points. She was 3-for-6 from three-point range. Sabrina Ma made three three-pointers and added 15 points to the Spartans’ scoresheet. She led the team with a season-high nine rebounds and recorded a season-high six assists. Amhyia Moreland added 10 points off the bench, plus five rebounds. The Spartans forced 19 turnovers in the win. They’ll play one more game before 2024 at Saint Mary’s on December 29.

🔼 2023 Finale. Take a break from holiday shopping an head over to the Provident Credit Union Event Center tonight! The men’s basketball team is closing out 2023 with a rivalry game against Santa Clara at 7 pm. If you can’t make it out, you can watch live on NBC Sports Bay Area, Stadium, and the Mountain West Network. You can also listen on 860 AM KTRB.
