📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Victory! The women’s basketball team beat Sacramento State 61-56 on Sunday. The Spartans shot 42.6% from the field. Maya Anderson led the team with a career-high 29 points. San José State scored 24 points in the first quarter, the most in a quarter for SJSU this season.

🔼 All-Americans. The men’s water polo team had five athletes named ACWPC All-Americans. Brendon Gyapjas earned a spot on the First Team. Samu Biros was named to the Second Team. László Szieben, Sam Keightley and Mateja Bosić received All-American Honorable Mentions.

🔼 Stat Check. The men’s basketball team faced New Mexico on Saturday. Colby Garland led the team with 27 points. He shot 9-of-17 from the field and 5-of-8 from behind the arc. The Spartans fell 88-65.

Drafted! Men’s soccer player Gilberto Rivera was selected by Houston Dynamo FC in the third round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft on Thursday.
