🔼 A New Era. It’s been a long offseason and there have been plenty of changes to the Spartan football program since the last time they took the field. With that being said, kick-off is finally here! The Spartans will host Sacramento State tomorrow at 7 p.m. They’ll begin the hunt for their fourth bowl game in five years as they start the season under new head coach Ken Niumatalolo. Fans not attending can tune in on KDOW 1220AM and TruTV/MAX.

🔼 On The Road. Spartan women’s soccer returns to the pitch tomorrow night at Cal Baptist. The 0-2-2 Spartans are coming off a 1-1 draw against Northeastern, where Kennedy Mayo scored her first goal of the season. Their first road match will kick off at 7 p.m.

🔼 He’s Back. San José State Director of Athletics Jeff Konya is returning to the NCAA DI Women’s Basketball Committee! He served on the committee in the 2017-18 season. He will serve through August 2026 as he fills the Mountain West Conference committee position.
