🔼 Battle Tested. Former Spartan quarterback Chevan Cordeiro is UFL bound! He was drafted in the first round at fifth overall to the St. Louis Battlehawks in the 2024 UFL College Draft. The Honolulu, Hawaii native led San José State to two bowl games and 14 wins in two years. He is the Mountain West all-time leader with 113 touchdowns responsible for, yardage gained, and completions with 971.

🔼 In Good Hands. Spartan linebacker Jalen Apalit-Williams has been nominated for the 2024 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team! He is recognized for his commitment to community service and “good works” off the field. Jalen spent over 60 hours volunteering at Winter Faith, a project aimed at limiting food waste and providing a solution to food insecurity. He also helped clean the streets in San José last season.

🔼Complete Student-Athletes. The women’s golf team has proven success on and off the course. They tied for second-place for the 2023-24 WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award. The team had a combined 3.916 GPA for the 2023-24 season. The Spartans are the only team in the top-five to play at the 2024 NCAA Championships.
