📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Semifinalist. Football player Danny Scudero was named a semifinalist for the 2025 Biletnikoff Award. This marks the second consecutive season a Spartan has earned semifinalist honors for the prestigious award. Scudero leads the nation with 1,155 receiving yards and 115.5 receiving yards per game. He ranks third in the nation in receiving touchdowns (10), fifth in receptions (72), and receptions per game (7.2).

🔼 Staff Changes. Head coach Ken Niumatalolo announced changes to his coaching staff. Associate Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator, Derrick Odum, and Senior Football Analyst and Special Teams Coordinator, Joe Palcic, will be removed from their duties for the remainder of the season. Inside linebackers coach Bojay Filimoeatu will serve as interim defensive coordinator for the Spartans for the rest of the 2025 season.
🔼 Keep it 100. The men’s basketball team beat Bethesda 110-56 on Monday. The 54-point win was the largest margin of victory since 2022. Colby Garland led the team with 17 points and a season-high six assists and five rebounds. He has scored at least 17 points in all four games of the season. The team shot 65.2% from the field and 52.2% from behind the arc. Six players reached double figures.
