🔼  Staying Close To Home. The Spartan gymnastics team will compete at the Berkeley Regional! The Spartans will compete against Southern Utah in the first round of the regional on Thursday, April 4, at 2 pm. The winner will advance to round two and will compete in the second session the next day at 7 pm. If the Spartans don’t advance, they’ll be represented by Lauren Macpherson, Jada Mazury, and Katherine Weyhmiller who will compete as individuals. Other schools at the Berkeley Regional are California, Arizona State, Auburn, Denver, Stanford, UCLA, and Washington.

🔼 Second-Straight Sweep. The women’s tennis team got their second-straight shutout win with a 4-0 victory over UC San Diego. Irena Muradyan, Cheuk Ying Shek, and Rozalina Youseva won their singles matches in dominant fashion. Muradyan and Ying Shek took their doubles win, along with Jovana Babic and Youseva. Check out the highlights! The Spartans will play at No. 72 San Diego State on Saturday at noon.

Xuan Luo and Caleb Shelter both tied for 16th, and Ivan Barahona was behind them at No. 20. They’ll be back in action tomorrow through Saturday at The Goodwin at Stanford.
