🔼 Cookin’ Up. Former Spartan wide receiver Elijah Cooks has been tearing up the NFL preseason with the Jacksonville Jaguars! Last year, he was a First Team All-Mountain West receiver with 1,076 yards and 10 touchdowns. This year, he’s having team leading performances in the NFL. He led the Jaguars with 69 yards on two catches against the Detroit Lions on Saturday.

🔼  Sparty Party. Game week is finally here! Football is officially within 5 days from us. Join us in Los Angeles for a fun weekend as the Spartans take on USC. You can get access to three different events over two days, including football tickets. The weekend will kick off Friday night at the Alumni Spartan Pride Party at Bonaventure Brewing Company from 6:00pm-9:00pm. On Saturday, there will be a pregame tailgate on the lawn of the California African American Museum inside Exposition Park from 1:30pm-4:30pm. Click here for more information.

🔼 Home Sweet Home. Tickets are going fast for the home opener against Oregon State on September 3. Don’t miss your chance to watch the Spartans take on the nationally-ranked Beavers at CEFCU stadium. The first 2,500 fans will receive free gold t-shirts to fit the Gold Rush theme! There will also be a halftime youth football parade.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

Familiar Faces. Radio veteran Kevin Richardson is entering his 16th year on the broadcast for the Spartan Radio Network, but this season he’ll be joined by someone we know all too well. Former Spartan quarterback David Fales will be an analyst alongside Kevin this season! David remains the all-time passing leader at San José State and played for five NFL teams from 2014-2020. All broadcasts will begin 30 minutes before kickoff with a pregame show and they’ll end with a 30 minute postgame show.
