🔼 Earning His Wings. Spartan men’s soccer player Angel Iniguez was named WAC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year! He also earned a spot on the Preseason All-WAC Team. Last year, he earned first-team all-conference midfielder with seven goals and six assists. He tied for fourth in the WAC with 20 points. The Spartans were voted to place fourth in the conference.

🔼 Shut ‘Em Down. The women’s soccer team spent their Sunday earning a 0-0 shutout draw against Saint Mary’s! Bente Pernot made two saves, while Tatiana Cunningham fired three shots to lead the Spartans. Taylor Phillips added two shots of her own.

⚽️ Up next, the Spartans will host UC Davis on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
