Good morning! Did you know that Jyah LoVett is one of just five players in the Mountain West averaging more than 15 points per game? She ranks No. 4 in the conference with 15.2 points per game. The women’s basketball team will play on national television, FS1, for the first time since 2006 when they play San Diego State on Saturday at 3 pm.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Road Trips & Flips. The gymnastics squad is headed to Boise State for a quad meet against the home team, Air Force, and West Chester. The Spartans had four gymnasts bring home five Mountain West honors this week after winning at Sacramento State. The meet will air on the Mountain West Network starting at 6 pm.

🔼 Gö Hard. The men’s basketball team was led by Tibet Görener on Tuesday night. He scored a career-high 32 points in the three-point loss at Fresno State. He made a career-high seven three-pointers, shooting 77.7% from beyond the arc. Trey Anderson made all five of his three-point attempts and tied his season-high of 21-points. The Spartans have the weekend off before playing New Mexico on Wednesday at 8 pm.

Our Coaching Network named the Spartans’ corners coach Chip Viney their Mountain West CBs Coach of the Year! Cornerback Jay’Vion Cole was named to Phil Steele’s 2023 Postseason Mountain West All-Conference Team and the Pro Football Focus All-Mountain West Team.
