🔼 Top Pick. The Men’s Water Polo team was picked as the league favorites in the WCC preseason coaches’ poll. Samu Biros and Sam Keightley were both named WCC Preseason All-Conference. The Spartans were the only team in the conference to have multiple players on the preseason all-conference team. The Spartans will begin this season as the No. 9 ranked team in the country.

Game Preview. The Football team takes on No. 14 USC on Saturday. The Spartans’ last win over a Power Four school was in 2024 against Stanford.

SJSU is #-# in their last seven season openers.
