📈 STOCK UP

🔼 End and Beginning. The men’s basketball team played its last game of 2025 against San Diego State. Colby Garland tied his career-high 30 points, but the team fell 81-68. Garland made history in the game against Utah State on Jan. 3. He recorded 17 points, four rebounds, five assists and broke the SJSU record for most free throws made in a row. He broke Carroll Williams’ record of 31 made free throws in a row, which he set 71 years ago. Garland is currently at 35 made free throws in a row and counting.

🔼 Holiday Games. The women’s basketball team played three games over the holiday break. The Spartans took on Grand Canyon on Dec. 28 and fell 79-59. Three players were in double figures against Utah State on Dec. 31, but the team lost 74-61. The women started the new year against New Mexico on Jan. 3. The Spartans fell 89-51.
