📈 STOCK UP

🔼 How Sweep It Is. Spartan softball finished their season with a series sweep at Utah State! The Spartans came from behind twice on Friday to get the 7-6 win. Five Spartans had multi-hit games as they recorded 13 as a team. Aubrie Thomas hit two home runs in the win and Reina Zermeno added one. The momentum stayed alive on Saturday as the Spartans took a 7-4 win to complete the sweep. They scored five runs in the second inning to take the lead and never look back. Reina’s bat stayed hot as she launched a grand slam and went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate. Ashley Rico went 3-for-4 in her final collegiate game.

🔼 Let’s Get It Started. The women’s golf team tees off at the NCAA Cle Elum Regional in Washington today starting at 9 am. They’ll play three rounds today through Wednesday. The top five teams will advance to the NCAA Championships. The last time they played at the Tumble Creek Club in a regional was in 2019 when they advanced to the NCAA Championships. The Spartan lineup will include Kajsa Arwefjäll, Lucia Lopez Ortega, Louisa Carlbom, Rebecca Gyllner, and Moa Andersson. Hear from Coach Dormann before the regional.

🔼  Hardball. Spartan baseball got the 17-8 win at Air Force on Saturday behind two home runs and seven RBIs from Theo Hardy. Dalton Bowling became the all-time RBI leader at San José State as he recorded his 148th RBI, he finished the day with three and a home run. Hunter Dorraugh also added a home run in the win. The Spartans’ 17 runs was a season-high. They’ll return to the field tomorrow at San Francisco at 2 pm.
