📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Season Opener. The gymnastics team won its first meet of the season. The Spartans beat Arizona State and UC Davis with a score of 195.175. Mikaela Pitts won the vault section with a score of 9.925, which is the second-highest score for the event in school history. Samantha Macasu won her first collegiate event total in the bars.

🔼 Multiple Wins. The swim and dive team competed against Cal State East Bay on Friday. The Spartans won 11 races. Vilma Lindberg won two of those races, the 100m breast and 200 breaststroke.

🔼 First Event. The track and field team competed in its first event of the 2026 indoor season. On day one of the Silver & Blue Invitational, Julius Baker placed first in the men’s 60m hurdles. Ethan Fong took first in the long jump. On day two, the Spartans won seven more races. Donte Smith placed first in the men’s 400m dash. Amanda Chalburg took first in the 3000m run.

🔼 Career-High. The men’s basketball team took on Grand Canyon on Saturday. Ben Roseborough recorded a career-high 23 points. The Spartans were without their top three leading scorers, Colby Garland, Jermaine Washington and Yaphet Moundi, and fell 76-58.

Double-Figures. The women’s basketball team faced Air Force on Saturday. The team had four players in double digits.
