📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Triple Threat. The gymnastics team faced Utah State on Friday. The Spartans won three individual titles. Kaviana Jurries won her second consecutive vault title. Samantha Macasu won her second bars title of the season. Sophie Patterson won her first collegiate title, taking the all-around.

🔼 Successful Swim. The swim and dive team had a successful meet on Saturday. Many Spartans improved their season times. Ela Freiman nearly broke her school record in the 100 individual medley. Luna Balbuena swam the second-fastest time this season in the 100 IM.

🔼 Just Short. The men’s basketball team took on Wyoming and came up short by just four points. Jermaine Washington and Sadraque NgaNga each had 14 points, but the team fell 66-62.

🔼 Multiple Goals. The No. 12 women’s water polo team had two games this past weekend. The Spartans fell to No. 9 Fresno State 10-8 and No. 16 UC Davis 11-8. Darcy Spark was the top goal scorer for SJSU. She had four goals against Fresno State and two more against UC Davis. The Spartans finished the weekend at an exhibition against USA Academy and fell to California 21-7.
