📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Event Wins. The gymnastics team recorded the 16th highest score in team history on Sunday. The Spartans tallied 196.100 in the tri-meet, coming in second against Air Force and UC Davis. Mikaela Pitts won her third vault title of the season.

🔼 The Classic. The softball team competed in the Mustang Classic this past weekend. The Spartans opened the tournament with a 3-2 walk-off win against Manhattan. Taylor Chillingworth hit a single so the Spartans could win. The women then fell to Sacramento State 4-0. SJSU posted another win against Manhattan on Saturday, 15-3. Amiya Noriega had a perfect game at the plate, going 3-for-3 with four RBIs. Finishing up on Sunday, the Spartans beat Pacific 10-1 and fell to Cal Poly 10-4.

🔼 Battle. The baseball team went into 13 innings against San Francisco to open the series on Friday. The Spartans fell 7-6. They came back to win 7-3 on Saturday. The Spartans had eight hits and six RBIs. JC Osorio-Agard hit his first home run of the season. The men dropped the series in a 9-3 loss on Sunday.

🔼 Champ Results. The swim and dive team wrapped up the Mountain West Championship. Lillie Grover finished fourth in the 100 butterfly on day two. Ela Freiman took eighth in the 400 IM. On day three, Grover finished fifth in the 200 butterfly. The 200 medley really team swam the fifth-fastest time in school history. On the final day, Genevieve George and Vilma Lindberg each finished 12th in the 200 backstroke and 200 breaststroke. SJSU finished ninth overall.

Career-High. The men’s basketball team fell to Boise State 84-69 on Saturday.
