🔼 Home, Sweet Home. The Spartans are back in action on Sunday at 12:30pm for the home opener against No. 18 Oregon State. It’ll be the first time the Spartans have played a regular season on CBS since 1982. The Beavers haven’t played a game yet, but the Spartans are coming off an impressive showing at USC that ended with Nick Nash earning Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week. Tickets are going fast, so be sure to secure yours ASAP! Click here to purchase as the new Spartan Athletics Center makes its game day debut.

🔼 Three For All. The Spartan volleyball team has two games today and one tomorrow in the Hornet Invitational at Sacramento State. They’ll start things off this morning at 10:00am against Portland before taking on Sacramento State at 7:00pm this evening. Tomorrow, they’ll play again at 10:00am, this time against Cal State Fullerton. All of the games will be streaming on ESPN+.

🔼 Hit The Ground Runnin’. The Spartans cross country team is opening the season tomorrow at the USF Invitational in San Francisco! The women’s 6k is scheduled for 2:00pm while the men’s 8k is at 3:30pm. The Spartans have some big returning talent in Constance O’Neal, Nereyda Alvarez, Michael Chadwick, and Amelio Chio.

Early Expectations. Water polo junior Bence Szabo was named to the WCC Preseason Team this week. Last season, he was named All-Gold Coast Conference after netting 22 goals through the season, ranking second on the team. He led the Spartans by making 57% of shots on goal.
