🔼 Honey, We’re Home. The Spartans are back in CEFCU Stadium this weekend as Cal Poly comes to town. The Spartans own this series 11-4, but the two haven’t met since 2017. The Mustangs are coming off a 27-10 win over San Diego. Kickoff will take place at 1:00pm, if you can’t make the game it’ll be live on NBC Sports Bay Area.

Spartan quarterback Chevan Cordeiro is just 241 passing yards away from 10,000 career passing yards! He’s sitting at eighth on the all-time Mountain West Conference list with 71 career touchdown passes.

🔼 Breakfast With The Spartans. The volleyball team will get the weekend started early this morning for us West Coasters. They’ll take on Campbell at 8:00am PT and Georgia Southern at 1:30pm. They’ll wrap up the Fairfield Inn & Suites Dunn Campbell Invitational tomorrow at 8:00am with UTSA. The Spartans sit at 4-2 with positive outcomes each of the last two weekends. Teya Nguyen was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week thanks to her first collegiate double-double.

🔼 Weekending On The Pitch. The men’s soccer team plays at Saint Mary’s tonight at 5:00pm. The Spartans hold the all-time record against the Gaels, 17-15-2. Angel Iniguez is tied for second in the WAC in points with six. He was also named WAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week last week. He and Gaku Nishimura are tied for the conference lead in assists. Fans missing out on the trip can tune in on ESPN+.
