🔼 We Are The Champions. Back-to-back champs has a nice ring to it! The Spartan cheer team won the Small Co-Ed 4-Year College division at the USA Collegiate Championships for the second-straight season! The champs will be at the women’s basketball game tonight when they host Utah State at 7 pm. Get your tickets and come check them out!

🔼 Go Ham. Spartan softball pitcher Lacie Ham was named the Mountain West Pitcher of the Week! She went 2-0 over the weekend and pitched a complete game shutout over Seattle U on Friday. She pitched 12.1 innings and held a 0.57 ERA with seven strikeouts. This is her first Mountain West weekly award.

🔼  Another One. This week’s Mountain West Gymnast of the Week is Lauren Macpherson! No, you’re not having deja vu — this is her third-straight Gymnast of the Week honor. She scored a 39.275 in the all-around, the highest total in the conference this week. She has now earned eight weekly awards so far this season.

🔼  Make Some Waves. The women’s swimming and diving team is in Houston for the Mountain West Swimming and Diving Championships this week! Competition begins today with the 200-medley relay, one-meter springboard, and 800-freestyle relay. The meet runs through Saturday at the CRWC Natatorium.

👕 SPARTAN CAREER CLOSET

Spartan Athletics has partnered with Kaiser Permanente to host a professional clothing drive that supports the on-campus Spartan Career Closet. 

From now until the middle of March, fans are encouraged to donate new or gently used professional clothes at any Men’s or Women’s basketball game or gymnastics meet. Donation bins will be visible at the entrance to Provident Credit Union Event Center to collect your donations. 

An alternate method of donation is to purchase items directly from the Spartan Career closet’s Amazon wishlist. All purchases will be sent directly to the Spartan Career Closet.
