The men's basketball player signed a new men's basketball player.

📈 STOCK UP
🔼 New Spartan! The Men’s Basketball team welcomes Marquis “Mookie” Cook to the 2026-27 roster. Cook was a 2023 McDonald’s All-American. He is a 6’6” forward from the University of San Francisco. Cook averaged 7.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 20.7 minutes per game last season at USF.
🔼 Runner Up! The Women’s Golf team finished in second place at the 2026 CU1 Mountain West Championship. SJSU had a final score of 880 (+16). All of the Spartans finished 28th individually or better. Kleopatra Kozakiewicz and Regina Roldan tied for eighth place individually to lead the team.
🔼 Getting Ready. The Women’s Soccer team added Gabrielle Williams to the 2026 roster. Williams is a transfer from Tarleton State University. She is a forward who was named the 2025 Tarleton State University Women's Soccer Team Offensive MVP.
🔼 Wrapped Up. The Beach Volleyball team finished its season at the MPSF Tournament. The Spartans fell 3-0 to No. 20 Washington in an elimination game. Kaia Fanshier and Grace Baker led the Spartans this season with a 13-13 overall record.

Women’s Tennis player Duru Durgun was named to the 2026 All-Mountain West Singles Team for the # straight year.
