📈 STOCK UP

🔼 CHAMPS. The No. 9 men’s water polo team opened the WCC Tournament with a 14-10 win over Air Force. Brendon Gyapjas recorded 13 saves in goal. The Spartans moved on to beat No. 10 Pepperdine 13-12 in overtime. Sam Keightley scored a match-high five goals and the game-winning goal in overtime. The Spartans went on to beat Cal Baptist 15-9 to be crowned the WCC Champions. This is the second time the team has won the title in the last three seasons. Gyapjas was named the WCC Tournament Most Outstanding Player. The men have earned an automatic qualifier to the 2025 National Collegiate Water Polo Tournament.

🔼 Victory! The men’s basketball team picked up an 80-66 win against Southern. Yaphet Moundi recorded a season-high 21 points to go along with 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season. The men made a season-high 22 free throws. San Jose shot 47.2% from the field and 44.4% from behind the arc.

🔼 Lap Complete. The swim and dive team wrapped up the Phil Hansel Invitational. The Spartans recorded four top-10 individual finishes. Vilma Lindberg had the best finish, placing fifth in the 200 breaststroke. The 400 freestyle team finished sixth with the eighth-fastest time in school history.

Season Finale. The volleyball team played its last match of the season against UNLV. The Lobos fell 3-0 and ended their season 13-16 overall and 8-10 in conference play.
