📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Going To The ‘Ship. The women’s golf team punched their ticket to the NCAA Championships by placing fifth at the NCAA Cle Elum Regional. Kajsa Arwefjäll led the Spartans, tying for ninth-place individually at 3-over. Lucia Lopez Ortega finished in 18th at 6-over after making six birdies in the final round. Louisa Carlbom and Rebecca Gyllner tied for 30th at 10-over. The Spartans finished third in the field in birdies made with 39. They’ll take on the NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, California May 17-22.

🔼 It Girl. Spartan softball’s Reina Zermeno was named to the Mountain West All-Conference Second Team! She led the team in batting average, hits, doubles, home runs, RBIs, slugging and on-base percentage. She hit .394 with 50 hits and seven homers in her 45 games this season. The second baseman finished the season strong with her first career grand slam against Utah State.

🔼  Off & Running. The Spartans are at the Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships today and tomorrow in Clovis, California! They finished the regular season two weeks after in preparation for this event. The Spartans won five gold medals and 10 overall at the Mountain West Indoor Championships earlier this year. Fans can watch the events on the Mountain West Network.

🔼  California Love. Spartan baseball will take on Cal in Berkeley this weekend for a non-conference series. The weekend rotation will include Keaton Chase, Micky Thompson, and Ethan Ross. First pitch is tonight at 6:05 pm and they’ll continue on Saturday and Sunday at 1:05 pm. The series will stream on the PAC-12 Network.
