📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Shut ‘Em Down. The men’s soccer team got the 3-0 win at Utah Tech yesterday afternoon! Angel Fernandez, Gaku Nishimura, Mario Barocio scored the goals for the squad. David Sweeney broke another record as he now has 19 shutouts, the most in school history. The win puts the Spartans tied for first in the WAC standings. They’ll be back at it on Thursday at home as they host CBU.

🔼 Never Back Down. The women’s soccer team put in the work against Colorado State yesterday. They trailed 1-3 at halftime, but turned up the heat and scored three goals in the second half. Taylor Phillips scored the first goal of the game thanks to a Sabrina Weinman assist. Tiana Cello, Kennedy Mayo, and Iliana Jasso scored the final three goals. The match ended in a 4-4 draw, but the Spartans put up a tremendous fight.

🔼 Rank ‘Em. The women’s golf team came in at No. 11 in the Golfweek rankings! They’ll tee off this morning at the Illini Invitational in Illinois. They’ll play 36 holes today and then final 18 tomorrow. They’re joined by Illinois, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Houston, and more. The team has finished in the top-four in the first two tournaments they’ve played in this fall.
