🔼 Rise & Shrine. Watch out! Two Spartans were named to the Shrine Bowl 1000 list, meaning they’re NFL Draft eligible and could compete in the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl. Tre Jenkins and Justin Lockhart may find themselves at the Ford Center at the Dallas Cowboys headquarters when February rolls around. Last year, Villiami Fehoko and Nehemiah Shelton played in the famous game.

🏈 Tre Jenkins sits on the Second-Team Preseason Athlon Sports All-Mountain West Defense and Third-Team on Phil Steele’s 2023 Preseason Mountain West Team. He was also a 2021 & 2022 All-Mountain West Honorable Mention and a Campbell Trophy Semifinalist.

🏈 Justin Lockhart is First-Team on Phil Steele’s Preseason Mountain West Team and Athlon Sports All-Mountain West Offense. He was also a 2022 All-Mountain West Honorable Mention after finishing the season with 36 catches for 578 yards.

🔼 Meet The Spartans. We’re continuing our series of Meet the Spartans today with Diogo Seixas. He’s a 6’7 forward from Lisbon, Portugal and has years of experience playing in the FIBA European Championships. Diogo just averaged 13.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.9 steals, and 1.7 assists in the FIBA U20 European Championships for Team Portugal.
