🔼 Welcome To SportsCenter. The Spartans made an appearance on the ESPN SportsCenter Top 10 on Monday night! This alley oop from Alvaro Cardenas to Adrame Diongue was the 4th-best play on the list. The Spartans took the game to overtime in Coach Miles’ return to North Dakota State. Alvaro posted the first double-double of his career with 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the team. They’ll be back home on Saturday to host New Orleans at 2 pm.

🔼 Roll The Tape. We had three Spartans named First-Team All-Mountain West this season, let’s take a look at their year!

• Quarterback Chevan Cordeiro has thrown for 2,558 yards with 19 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He is the Mountain West all-time leader with 112 touchdowns responsible for and 13,537 yards gained. He has thrown the fewest interceptions in the conference this season.

• Running back Kairee Robinson has had a season to remember. He’s had career-highs of 18 touchdowns, 1,124 rushing yards, and 7.2 yards per carry. He ranks second in the nation in consecutive games played with a touchdown. His 20 total touchdowns is a San José State single-season record. His yards per carry stat is good for fourth in the nation and first in the conference.

• Defensive end Tre Smith has had career-highs also with 58 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks this season. He recorded a career-high 13 tackles against Air Force. The Spartans defense is the second-best in the conference, allowing just 354.6 yards per game.
