📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Sky Is The Limit. Two Spartans are set to represent the 25th-ranked women’s track & field team at the NCAA Indoor Championships! Emilia Sjostrand and Sky Hagan will compete at the meet in Boston, March 8-9. Emilia competed in the meet last season when she became the first female All-American at San José State. She’s also the back-to-back Mountain West long jump and triple jump champion. Sky won the 60m hurdles with an all-time record 8.09s run at the Mountain West Indoor Championships.

🔼 Triple Threat. The Mountain West named three Spartans to the All-Conference Swimming & Diving teams — Jenna Jagielski, Réka Kovács, and Ela Freiman. Jenna and Ela set school records at the Mountain West Championships last weekend.

🔼 Stacked Weekend. The softball team is headed to the Judi Garman Classic at Cal State Fullerton this weekend! They’ll play Long Beach State today, Oregon State and Weber State tomorrow, and DePaul and No. 19 UCLA on Sunday. The Spartans are riding a five-game winning streak and Lacie Ham was named Mountain West Pitcher of the Week their last time out.

🔼 Vegas, Baby. The Spartan baseball team will take on UNLV at their place this weekend, starting tonight at 6:05 pm tonight. The Spartans are coming off a 5-2 win over Santa Clara. The Spartans lead the league in triples with five of them. You can watch the series on the Mountain West Network.

⚔️ THE CHARGE

Season 3, episode 2 of The Charge will air on NBC Sports Bay Area today at 3 pm and 8:30 pm! The episode will tell the story of Coach Ken Niumatalolo’s hiring, MJ Amey overcoming mental health issues, and Natasha Andrea Oon earning her 2024 LPGA Tour Card.

👕 SPARTAN CAREER CLOSET

Spartan Athletics has partnered with Kaiser Permanente to host a professional clothing drive that supports the on-campus Spartan Career Closet. 

From now until the middle of March, fans are encouraged to donate new or gently used professional clothes at any Men’s or Women’s basketball game or gymnastics meet. Donation bins will be visible at the entrance to Provident Credit Union Event Center to collect your donations. 

An alternate method of donation is to purchase items directly from the Spartan Career closet’s Amazon wishlist. All purchases will be sent directly to the Spartan Career Closet.
