🔼 Home Series. The Softball team hosted New Mexico this past weekend. The Spartans won game one of the series 8-2. Delaney Faus threw a complete game with a career-high six strikeouts. Gigi Ortega led the team with three hits and three RBIs. Three other Spartans recorded two hits and four others recorded one hit. The women fell in game two 8-0. SJSU finished the series with a 4-1 win on Sunday. Ahmiya Noriega hit an inside the park home run on her senior day. Faus pitched a complete game, only allowing five hits, one run and struck out four batters.
