San José State will host Casino Night on January 23, 2025, to support student-athlete scholarships! The event will feature casino games, auctions, and a no-host bar, with VIP access offering early access and premium amenities. Click here to get your tickets now!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Shrine Bright. Spartan wide receiver Nick Nash has accepted an invitation to the 100th East-West Shrine Bowl! Players participating will showcase their talents in front of NFL scouts and national television. The East-West Shrine Bowl will be played at AT&T Stadium on January 30. Fans can watch on the NFL Network.

🔼 Comeback Falls Short. The men’s basketball team fell to UNLV 79-73 after sparking a potential comeback. Josh Uduje led the game with 18 points; he has led the Spartans in scoring in 10 games this season. Sadraque NgaNga recorded his second double-double of the year with 11 points and rebounds. The Spartans had five players score double-digits for the second time this season. They’ll host Utah State tomorrow at 7 p.m.

🔼 Road Woes. The women’s basketball team fell 87-51 to Colorado State on the road. Sydni Summers led the Spartans with 12 points, adding four assists and two steals. It was her second-straight game with four assists. Marisa Davis-Jones set a new season-high with eight rebounds. They’ll host Fresno State on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Nick Nash was a second-generation Spartan football player.
