🔼 Flyin’ High. Playing at home for the first time this month, the SJSU volleyball team enjoyed the friendly confines of the Spartan Gym.

Thanks to a big time performance from Tatiana Robinson, the Spartans rolled to a 3-0 sweep of visiting Air Force for a second straight win and improving to 3-3 in Mountain West play.

Robinson led the team with 14 kills on 19 attempts and only one hitting error. She also contributed four blocks and four digs. Naima Foster added 11 kills for the Spartans, while Fatimah Hall had another long stat line with 33 assists, eight digs, two service aces, two block assists and a kill.

🔼 Record Breaker. It was a performance to remember.

Danny Scudero broke the SJSU single-game touchdown reception record with four touchdowns to go along with 10 receptions for 180 yards to lead the San José State football team in a tough 35-28 loss at Wyoming on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans dominated the first half behind the connection of Walker Eget and Scudero, racing out to a 28–14 halftime advantage. Eget finished 23-of-37 for 295 yards and four touchdowns, all to Scudero. Eget exited the game in the third quarter, but came back in with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Wyoming stormed back with a 21-point fourth quarter to secure the win. The Cowboys took their first lead with just 40 seconds remaining.

The Spartan defense held the Cowboys scoreless in the third quarter and forced two interceptions. Linebacker Jordan Pollard led the defense with 11 tackles, while Vili Taufatofua notched two sacks and a forced fumble.

🔼 Opening Act. The SJSU women’s swimming & diving squad opened their 2025-26 campaign with strong showing at the Fresno State Invitational.

In total, the Spartans finished fifth overall behind 11 top-10 individual finishes.

🔼 Off To The Races. Amanda Chalburg and Alexander Walker were the first Spartans to finish in their individual races to lead San José State cross country at the SF State Invitational on Friday afternoon.

The men's team finished in seventh place with a score of 178, and the women's team placed ninth with a score of 240.
