🔼 Saddled Up. San José State defeated Wyoming 24-14 on Homecoming presented by El Camino Health. Walker Eget threw his first career touchdown in his first career start. He threw for 318 yards, a new career high. Nick Nash scored a receiving touchdown for the seventh consecutive game. Floyd Chalk IV and Jabari Bates added rushing touchdowns. They’ll travel to Fresno State next week.

🔼  Kings Of The Pool. The 13th-ranked men’s water polo team defeated Bucknell and No. 11 Harvard on Saturday. Mateja Bosić recorded 11 points across the two games, scoring five goals and six assists. Brendon Gyapjas recorded 24 saves in the goal throughout the day. On Sunday, the Spartans defeated No. 19 Brown and No. 20 Navy. Bence Szabo scored 10 goals on the day.

🏆 Gyapjas was named to the Cutino Award Watch List last week. The award recognizes the best player in men’s and women’s college water polo.

🔼 Spartans Soar. Spartan volleyball defeated Air Force 3-1 on Saturday. Blair Fleming led the team with 10 kills, while Brooke Slusser had a career-high seven service aces. They’ll travel to Nevada on Saturday.

🔼 Drawing Board. The women’s soccer team ended the weekend in a 1-1 draw with New Mexico. Taylor Phillips scored her first goal of the season to put the Spartans on the board. Shayla Sugai had seven saves in the goal. They’ll get back on the road for a match. at Colorado College on Thursday.
