SJSU Football Coaches Show is back at Narrative Fermentations on TONIGHT!

🔼 Sunday Funday. With the regular season winding down, the SJSU men’s soccer team picked up a massive win in the WAC standings on Sunday night.

The Spartans rolled past the Rebels of UNLV, 3-1, to vault fifth place in the league standings with the top six spots earning a ticket to the postseason.

Daniel Fresgoso Bautista notched a goal an assist, while Angel Iniguez and Arnold Matshazi added goals late in the second half to help SJSU secure the win.

A win against Air Force in the regular season finale would secure a spot in the WAC Conference Tournament next month.

🔼 Protecting Their House. The SJSU volleyball squad is heating up at just the right time.

Sophomore Learden Lee led the Spartan offensive attack with a career-best 14 kills to pace SJSU in their 3-1 victory over visiting New Mexico on Saturday night. With the win, the Spartans have now won four of their past six.

Morgan Graves added 12 kills, while Fatimah Hall notched her second consecutive double-double with 41 assists and 11 digs.

🔼 Picking Up A Pair. Add yet another ranked win to the resume for the 8th-ranked SJSU men’s water polo squad.

The Spartans hosted the annual Julian Fraser Memorial and picked up wins over #9 Pepperdine (17-14) and Pomona-Pitzer (14-9), before dropping a tough 10-9 decision to #5 Fordham.

🔼 Making Waves. Six Spartans won nine individual races on Saturday as the San José State women’s swimming and diving team won duals over Pacific and UC Santa Cruz.

Three Spartans won six individual titles, led by Vilma Lindberg, who won the first individual title in the 100 breaststroke with a season-best 1:03.47.

Lindberg also won the 200 breaststroke at 2:18.28, a season-best for her.
