🔼 Terrific Trickery. Spartan football got their second conference win on Saturday against Nevada, beating the Wolf Pack 35-31. Nick Nash went back to his quarterback days on a trick play and threw a touchdown pass in the final minute. He finished with five receptions, 75 yards, and one touchdown. Floyd Chalk IV added two touchdowns for the second-straight game. Kyler Halvorsen has now kicked 60 consecutive extra points, a Spartan record.

🔼 Call It A Comeback. Men’s soccer came back to win on the road at Utah Valley, 3-2. Angel Iniguez scored two goals and Diogo Baptista scored one in the win. They went down two goals, but that wasn’t too much for the Spartans. They’ve won back-to-back conference matches.

🔼 Split Weekend. The 11th-ranked men’s water polo team defeated No. 12 UC Santa Barbara on Saturday! The Spartans got the 16-13 win, led by Mateja Bosić who had seven points. Their 16 goals matched a season-high. They fell to No. 17 UC Davis afterward, 11-9.

🔼 Fourth-Place Finish. The Spartan women’s tennis duo of Cheuk Ying Shek and Carla Urchoeguia finished the Mountain West Qualifier in fourth-place! Ying Shek also split singles matches on Friday to finish in fifth-place. The Spartans will play at the ITA Northwest Regional this week.
