📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Record-Setter. The Spartans fell to 13th-ranked Boise State 42-21 on Saturday. Nick Nash set the all-time Spartan record for receptions in a single season with 95. He scored a touchdown for the 10th-straight game, another Spartan record. Walker Eget threw for 446 yards and three touchdowns, his first multi-passing touchdown game. Justin Lockhart finished the game with 172 receiving yards and a touchdown. The Spartans will host UNLV on Friday at 7 p.m.
🔼 Winning Weekend. The 13th-ranked men’s water polo team picked up two wins over the weekend. They defeated No. 16 Cal Baptist on Friday, 13-12. Maro Tiozzo recorded a season-high seven points, while Brendon Gyapjas recorded 17 saves. The Spartans went on to beat Air Force 19-9 in the regular season finale. They have clinched the third seed in the WCC Tournament.
🔼 Fell Short. The men’s soccer team came up short in the WAC Tournament championships game, losing to Seattle 3-0. Ronin Axelson recorded a career-high six saves. Angel Iniguez, Gilberto Rivera, and Cameron Cook were named to the WAC All-Tournament Team.
🔼 Senior Day Dub. The volleyball team picked up a 3-2 win over Colorado State on Senior Day! Emma Testi led the team with a season-high seven aces, the team finished with 16. Blaire Fleming led the Spartans with 24 kills and 10 digs, her seventh double-double of the season. The Spartans will host Fresno State tomorrow at 7 p.m.
🔼 Onto The Next. The men’s basketball team fell to UC Santa Barbara last night, 64-59. Josh Uduje had season-highs with 22 points and seven rebounds. Robert Vaihola led the Spartans with a season-high nine rebounds. The Spartans held UCSB to 64 points, a team that averages 93.7 points per game. They’ll play at USC on Wednesday.
