🏈 Coaches Show is back at Narrative Fermentations on Monday!

🔼 Over The Rainbow. Welp, that was pretty fun, how about we do it again this Saturday?

Walker Eget threw for 458 yards and two touchdowns, Danny Scudero recorded a career-high 215 yards and two touchdowns, Steve Chavez-Soto tallied a career-high three rushing touchdowns and Jordan Pollard notched a forced fumble, a sack, two tackles for a loss and eight tackles to lead the SJSU football squad to a thrilling 45-38 victory over Hawai’i on Saturday night, presented by Habbas Law in the Dick Tomey Legacy Game.

SJSU’s offense exploded for 24 points in the second quarter, turning a 7–7 tie into a 31–14 halftime lead. After Hawai‘i rallied to close within three early in the fourth quarter, Chavez-Soto’s one-yard touchdown run with 5:37 remaining proved to be the game-sealer.

🔼 Ticket Punched. For the ninth straight season, the SJSU men’s soccer team is postseason bound.

Even before taking the field for Sunday’s finale with Air Force, the Spartans clinched their ticket to the WAC Tournament. SJSU followed it up with a 2-0 victory over Air Force to secure the fourth-seed and set up a Saturday evening date with San Diego State in Riverside, Calif.

SJSU’s two leading scorers added to their point total with Angel Iniguez and Arnold Matshazi with each scoring goals in the victory over the Falcons.

🔼 Flyin’ High. A season-high five goals from Sam Keightley led the sixth-ranked SJSU men’s water polo team to a decisive 14-9 win over Air Force on Sunday afternoon.

Following Sam Keightley on the offense, Giancarlo Marquez and Mateja Bosić each scored two goals and László Szieben, Louis Fehrensen, Samu Biros, Aidan Johnson and Erik Duesund each contributed one apiece.

🔼 Opening Act. The wait is finally over. SJSU hoops is officially BACK!

Tonight, the Spartans return to the court against Big 12 foe Utah on ESPN+.

SJSU is looking to return to postseason play for the third time in four years and for the first time ever reach postseason play in back-to-back seasons.

Tip time is set for 6 p.m.
