Join Xfinity for a King-of-the-Hill tournament; competitors will have two chances to fight for the top spot on EA Sports FC 25. Each 45-minute tournament starts with one player as the "King" and defends their title against a line of challengers. Winners stay on the field, maintaining their reign, while those who lose must go to the back of the line for another chance at glory. The King will walk away with an EA FC26 gaming code.

🔼 No Place Like Home(coming). The SJSU football squad will look to keep the offense humming as they get set to welcome Air Force to town for Homecoming, presented by Webcor, this Saturday at 3:00 p.m on FS1.

After a thrilling home win last Saturday night over Hawai’i, the Spartans will be looking for their fourth consecutive homecoming victoyr and fourth straight win at home this season.

In the Spartans' three wins, SJSU has averaged 174.3 rushing yards and 335.7 passing yards.

🔼 Dynamic Duo. On Monday, SJSU’s Walker Eget and Steve Chavez-Soto each earned Old Trapper Mountain West Player of the Week honors.

Eget was named Old Trapper Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. At the same time, Chavez-Soto earned his first career Old Trapper Freshman of the Week recognition following the Spartans’ 45-38 conference win over Hawai‘i, presented by Habbas Law, on Saturday night.

This marks the first time in program history that San José State has had both an Old Trapper Offensive Player of the Week and an Old Trapper Freshman of the Week in the same week.

🔼 Quite A First Impression. Junior Paige Pineda-Aliamus was quite impressive in her debut season for SJSU.

Pineda-Aliamus played and started in all 18 games this season. She led the team with seven goals, five of which came in conference play. Her five conference play goals was tied for the second most in the Mountain West.

🔼 Opening Act. It was a battle for 40 minutes as the SJSU men’s basketball squad had a strong showing against Big 12 foe, Utah, on Monday night, but the Utes pulled out a 84-75 victory over the Spartans in the season opener for both programs.

Colby Garland led the way with 21 points, four assists and three steals, while Yaphet Moundi notched a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. JaVaughn Hannah was the third Spartan in double-figures with 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting.

The 630 yards of total offense by the Spartans in Saturday’s win over Hawai’i was the most by SJSU in a Mountain West game and against an FBS opponent since putting up 736 yards against which in-state rival in 2013?
