🔼 Calling All Spartans. The men’s basketball team is back in action at the Provident Credit Union Event Center tonight! They’ll host Lincoln at 7 p.m. on the Mountain West Network. Fans will receive a Spartan scarf, so come out and support! The Spartans are averaging the fewest turnovers per game in the Mountain West.

🔼 Making Her Mark. The indoor track and field season got underway at the Silver State Invitational and Multis over the weekend. Emilia Sjostrand set a facility record and took first-place in the women’s long jump at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center with a 6.47m mark. She currently holds the No. 1 women’s long jump mark in the world. Eve Divinity took third in the same event. Simons Johnson won the women’s triple jump in PR fashion. Alyssa Bean finished second in the women’s 200m dash, while Cameron Tarver took second in the men’s. The Spartans will return to competition in January.

🔼  Fell Short. The women’s basketball team fell 82-71 to LMU on Saturday. Sydni Summers scored 17 points with five three-pointers. Hennie Van Schaik scored 14 points with eight rebounds. The Spartans set a season-high with 41 points off the bench. They’ll host Tulsa tomorrow at 6 p.m.

SJSU football ranks No. 1 in the country in interceptions.
