🔼  Spring Cleaning. Spartan baseball broke out the brooms and swept Air Force over the weekend! They made a statement on Friday with a 14-1 win as Nolan George threw a seven-inning shutout and struck out seven. Rocco Caballero had a career-high four RBIs. They run-ruled the Falcons again on Saturday, 14-3. Jeriah Lewis hit his fourth homer of the season in the win. The sweep was complete when the Spartans shut them out 2-0 on Sunday. Win Scott threw seven scoreless innings while striking out a career-high 10. They’ll play at No. 14 Stanford tomorrow at 2:05 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Core Four. Four Spartan gymnasts won Mountain West titles on Saturday! Mikaela Pitts and Madison Kirsch tied for the vault title with a 9.850 score. Sophia Konieczny tied for the bars title with a career-high 9.900 score. Madison Gustitus tied for the beam title with her season-high 9.875. The Spartans finished third in the team standings.

🔼 Defend Home Courts. Spartan tennis also swept their opponents over the weekend to improve to 13-1 and unbeaten at home! They shut out Wyoming 4-0 on Friday as Emma Fantousis and Olaya Bances Iglesias controlled their singles and doubles matches. On Sunday, they shut out Colorado State 4-0. Bances Iglesias and No. 118 Cheuk Ying Shek both won in straight sets in singles matches.

🔼  Fun In The Sun. The beach volleyball team went 5-1 at the Southland Midseason Tournament at Nicholls State! The Spartans swept New Orleans and Nicholls. They beat Stephen F. Austin, Southeastern Louisiana, and McNeese 4-1. Grace Baker and Addison DeMarse went 4-0 at the tournament!

🔼 Record-Setter. Spartan track & field had a successful weekend at the Hornet Invite. Sky Hagan set a new school record as she won the women’s 100m hurdles in 13.26 seconds! Christopher Coats recorded two personal bests over the weekend. The men’s 4×100m relay squad earned a first-place finish with a season-best 40.13 time.
