🔼 Bringing Home Hardware. The Spartans had success at the Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships! They brought home 10 medals - three bronze, five silver, and two gold. Sky Hagan won gold and broke her school record in the women’s 60m. Emilia Sjostrand won the women’s triple jump for the third-straight season. She shares the top triple jump spot in the nation with her 14.01m mark. Sjostrand and Simone Johnson have qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships, taking place March 14-15 in Virginia Beach, VA. The Spartans will begin outdoor season this coming weekend.

🔼  All Eyes On Nash. Spartan wide receiver Nick Nash had an impressive Saturday at the NFL Combine! He ran a 4.58-second 40-yard dash, recorded a 34-inch vertical jump and a 10’3” broad jump, plus ran a 1.54-second 10-yard split. Check out some of his highlights!

🔼 Took Two. Spartan baseball took two from San Francisco over the weekend. Jesse Gutierrez struck out a career-high nine batters in Friday’s 7-2 victory. They took the series win as they beat the Dons 5-2 on Saturday after scoring four runs in the seventh inning. EJ McGrew earned the win with five strikeouts. He leads the conference with a 3-0 record. The Spartans fell on Sunday 7-3. They’ll play Saint Mary’s tomorrow at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Winning Ways. Spartan tennis beat Cal St. Fullerton 4-1 on Sunday! Soledad Fayos Capilla remains undefeated after winning her singles and doubles matches. Duru Durgun and Olaya Bances Iglesias got their first win as a doubles pair. They’ll play Boston College on Wednesday at noon.

🔼  100 Club. Spartan women’s water polo’s Darcy Spark became the 21st Spartan in school history to score 100 career goals! She did so in Saturday’s 18-11 loss to No. 4 California. She finished the day with 102 career goals, 10 behind head coach Beth Harberts.

🔼 One More Time. The women’s basketball team will host Colorado State tomorrow at 7 p.m. It’s the final game of the regular season and it’s Senior Night! The game will air on NBC Sports Bay Area and the Mountain West Network.
