🔼 Shine Bright On The Diamond. The SJSU softball squad enjoyed its second weekend at home, taking three of four games at the Silicon Valley Classic II Tournament.
Kicking the weekend off with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Santa Clara, the Spartans followed with a Sunday sweep of Saint Mary’s, taking down the Gaels 5-1 and 6-2.
🔼 Tourney Time. All the early morning workouts. All the late night film sessions. All the blood, sweat and tears were for moments like this.
This week, the SJU men’s hoops squad takes on the gauntlet that is the 2026 Mountain West Tournament at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The Spartans will open its run on Wednesday evening when the 11th-seeded Spartans take on sixth-seeded Boise State in an 8:30 pm showdown. The winner earns a quarterfinal date with third-seeded New Mexico.
🔼 Three Of A Kind. The SJSU beach volleyball squad capped off its trip to Honolulu, taking three of four matches over the weekend.
After dropping a tough match to #12 Hawaii on Friday, the Spartans bounced back with three straight wins to cap off the trip.
SJSU picked up a 5-0 win over Chaminade, 4-1 over Concordia University Irvine and 3-2 over UNCW.
Senior Reina Zermeno notched a hit in all four games this past weekend for the SJSU softball team. She currently ranks second on the team with a .358 average.
