⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 3️⃣2️⃣ DAYS

That’s right, we are just 3️⃣2️⃣ days away from the return of Spartan football!

Wearing #3️⃣2️⃣ this fall will be junior defensive back, Caleb Womack.

The Santa Cruz, Calif. native is back for his fourth season with the Spartans and ready to make an impact after playing in 11 games last fall, mostly as part of the special teams unit.

He arrived at SJSU after earning four straight All-District honors as both a wide receiver and a defensive back at Santa Cruz High School.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Smarty Spartans. Not only did the SJSU women’s tennis team succeed on the court this spring, they showed up in the classroom as well.

This past week, five Spartans were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, students must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year.

🔼 Summertime Grindin’. While most of their college friends hit the beaches or relaxed this summer, the Spartans are getting their summer work in!

🔼 Back For Six. Coming off a career-high in catches (22), yards (258) and TDs (3), former SJSU standout Josh Oliver returned to training camp this past week with the Minnesota Vikings.

Oliver joined the Vikings in 2023 and has since played in 32 games over the past two seasons.
