⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 2️⃣8️⃣ DAYS

That’s right, we are just 2️⃣8️⃣ days away from the return of Spartan football!

The year: 2011.
The opponent: Hawaii.

In one of the most unusual victories in program history, SJSU’s Duke Ihenacho blocked a PAT in the fourth quarter and raced down the field for two points for the Spartans.

That would prove to be the difference in SJSU’s 2️⃣8️⃣-27 victory on October 14, 2011.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 They’re Backkk. If you couldn’t tell by the whistles blowing around campus, SJSU football is officially back in action.

On Wednesday, the Spartans returned to the practice field for their first day of training camp ahead of their season opener later this month against Central Michigan.

🔼 On The Grind. The football program wasn’t the only squad that returned to the field this week as the SJSU women’s soccer is back on the pitch.

The Spartans are less than two weeks from the 2025 season opener, a August 14th trip to Santa Clara.
