⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 1️⃣8️⃣ DAYS

That’s right, we are just 1️⃣8️⃣ days away from the return of Spartan football!

An exciting new face will be wearing #1️⃣8️⃣ this fall for the Spartans in WR Trace Hernandez.

The JUCO transfer from Modesto Junior College arrives at SJSU after hauling in 42 catches for 788 yards and six TDs in 11 games for the Pirates.

The Los Banos, Calif. native ran a 4.43 40-yard dash and gives the Spartans a versatile offensive weapon to add to the attack.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 League Him. The NFL is quickly finding out what the SJSU fam already knew about Nick Nash - he’s the real deal.

After turning heads all training camp, Nash made his NFL preseason debut, hauling in three catches for 35 yards in the Falcons weekend matchup with the Detroit Lions.

The former Spartan standout signed a free agent deal with Atlanta back in April and is looking to earn a spot on the final 53-man roster at the end of camp later this month.

Nash made history in 2024 by becoming the first SJSU player ever named a Biletnikoff Award Finalist. He also became just the fourth player in FBS history to achieve the prestigious receiving triple crown, leading the nation during the regular season in receptions (104), receiving yards (1,382), and receiving touchdowns (16).

🔼 Ready To Roll. The rust has been knocked off, now it’s time to roll.

The SJSU women’s soccer squad hosted San Francisco on Sunday night for a final tune-up before their season opener on Thursday night in Santa Clara. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
