🔼 It’s A Draw. The men’s soccer team finished their Sunday matchup with CSU Bakersfield in a 1-1 draw. Daniel Fregoso Bautista scored his first career goal, assisted by Ruben Flores-Thomas. Edgar Guerra recorded one save in the goal. The Spartans will stay home to host Sacramento State on Sunday at 6 p.m.
🔼 All Tied Up. The women’s soccer team also finished their Sunday matchup in a 1-1 draw with Northeastern. Kennedy Mayo scored her first goal of the season in the 16th minute. Bente Pernot had another good game in the goal, recording three saves. The Spartans will take on California Baptist on Thursday at 7 p.m.
🔼 Be The Change. SJSU’s Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student Wellness and Leadership Development, Laura Alexander, has been named to the NCAA DI Women’s Volleyball Committee! She will aid with selecting and seeding teams for the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship and advance the sport. What a way to enter her 12th year at San José State!
