🔼 Came In Clutch. The men’s soccer team got their first win of the season on Sunday! They defeated Sacramento State 2-1. Freshman Jordi Tortell Daly scored the first goal of his Spartan career before halftime. Diogo Baptista scored the game-decider, thanks to an assist from Tortell Daly. Edgar Guerra had two saved between the posts.

🔜 The Spartans hit the road to take on Cal Poly tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.

🔼 In The Net. Spartan men’s water polo goalie Brendon Gyapjas was named to the WCC Preseason Team! He was the only goalie named to the team. He started 15 games and tallied 187 saves for the Spartans last season. San José State was voted to finish second in the league.
