🔼 Victory! The volleyball team beat San Diego State 3-1 on Thursday. Lolo Fonua had a career-high 24 kills. This marks her second 20+ kill match of the season. Fatimah Hall recorded her 13th double-double of the season with 45 assists and 14 digs. SJSU is now tied for 6th place in the conference.

🔼 Day 2. The swim and dive team competed on the second day of the Phil Hansel Invitational. The Spartans posted five top-10 times in school history. Ela Freiman broke a 12-year-old school record in the 400 IM with a time of 4:14.54, finishing third. Lillie Grover is third in the all-time record book for her 53.67 100 butterfly time.

🔼 Welcome! The men’s basketball team signed Cade Krueger. Krueger is a guard from Pleasanton, Calif. he played AAU basketball for the Oakland Soldiers EYCL and Lakeshow programs. His older brother is a guard at High Point University.

🔼 Close Game. The women’s basketball team faced UC Santa Barbara on Wednesday. Maya Anderson led the team with 12 points. Amira Brown was right behind with 11 points. The Spartans fell 75-60.

Conference Honors. The men’s water polo team earned multiple conference honors. Sam Keightley and Sam Biros earned All-WCC Second Team honors. Keightley was also named to the All-WCC Freshman Team. Mateja Bosic earned a spot on the All-WCC Honorable Mention list. See the seven Spartans who earned WCC All-Academic honors here.
