🔼  History Made. Last week, Tibet Görener became the Spartans all-time leader in three-pointers attempted. Last night, he became the undisputed three-point record holder. He made his 162nd career three-pointer in the second half of last night’s game against Fresno State. Check out the shot!

🔼 Break Out The Brooms. The Spartans swept this week’s Mountain West Swimming & Diving awards! Réka Kovács was named the Mountain West Swimmer of the Week after her wins in the 500-yard freestyle and the 200-yard butterfly. She broke the pool record in the 500-yard free. Jenna Jagielski earned Diver of the Week after qualifying for NCAA Diving Zones in both the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard. The Freshman of the Week honor went to Vilma Lindberg for swimming the fourth-fastest 200-yard breaststroke in program history.

🔼 Not Done Yet. The conference honors don’t stop there for the Spartans. Lauren Macpherson won her third Mountain West Gymnast of the Week honor and was named Co-Bars Specialist of the Week. She won the all-around, bars title, and a share of the beam title over the weekend. Madison Kirsch was named Vault Specialist of the Week after her first event title of the season.

🔼 Game-Changer. USA Today ranked Ken Niumatalolo the fourth-best head coach hire this offseason! Not only is he one of the best hires in the country, he’s added a deep lineup of experienced assistants to his staff. Spartan fans, get excited for a new era!

👕 SPARTAN CAREER CLOSET

Spartan Athletics has partnered with Kaiser Permanente to host a professional clothing drive that supports the on-campus Spartan Career Closet. 

From now until the middle of March, fans are encouraged to donate new or gently used professional clothes at any Men’s or Women’s basketball game or gymnastics meet. Donation bins will be visible at the entrance to Provident Credit Union Event Center to collect your donations. 

An alternate method of donation is to purchase items directly from the Spartan Career closet’s Amazon wishlist. All purchases will be sent directly to the Spartan Career Closet.
