🔼 Sunday Smash. Spartan baseball picked up a big 8-2 win at Cal on Sunday. Sebastian Orduno and Dalton Bowling each hit homers for the Spartans. Hunter Dorraugh went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Ethan Ross picked up his sixth win of the season on the mound after striking out five. The Spartans now have 20 wins for the third-straight season. It was the first time they’ve defeated Cal on the road since 2002.

They’re coming off a fourth-place finish at the Mountain West Championship. The top five teams will advance to the NCAA Championships.

🔼  Yappy Hour. The men’s basketball team and Coach Tim Miles welcome Donavan Yap Jr. to San José State! The 6’5 junior guard spent last season at Fresno State and his freshman season at UNLV.
