🔼 Our MJ. The highlight of Friday night’s men’s basketball game against Boise State was Myron Amey Jr.’s 30-piece. He scored 25 points in the first half and matched his career-high of five three-pointers. He led the team with six rebounds and three steals as well. Adrame Diongue had a career-high four blocks for the second-straight game. He also tied his career-high of 10 points. The Spartans eventually fell, 69-78. They’ll be back on the court on Tuesday as they host San Diego State, you can get your tickets right here.

🔼 Road Warriors. The women’s basketball team got their first Mountain West win on the road at Utah State, winning 69-54! Four Spartans scored in double figures to lead them to the win. Jyah LoVett had another 20-plus point game, scoring 21 with three three-pointers. She added four assists and three steals. Marisa Davis-Jones almost recorded a double-double with 13 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Amhyia Moreland scored 11 with nine rebounds, also reaching for a double-double. Sabrina Ma scored 12 points with two three-balls as the fourth Spartan in double-digits. They’ll finish their conference road trip on Wednesday at UNLV.

🔼 Super Spartans. The 2024 gymnastics season got started at the Mean Girls Super 16 Gymnastics Championships on Friday. The lineup of Madison Kirsch, Jada Mazury, Marissa Ashton, and Lauren Macpherson led the team to a 194.950 score. Jada scored the team’s highest individual score with a 9.875 on bars to tie for third. On vault, the team scored a 48.925 which tied for the 10th-best team vault score in school history. The Spartans will be back in the gym on Sunday as they travel to Sacramento State.
