📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Three For Three. There were some impressive moments in football’s season opener at No. 6 USC. One of them being Nick Nash hauling in a career-high three touchdowns — one of them was the No. 2 play on SportCenter’s Top 10! Running back Kairee Robinson got the first touchdown of the season. Chevan Cordeiro had 250 total yards while the entire offense was just shy of 400 yards. Tre Smith had a career-high night with 1.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss.

🔼  Angel Wings. The Spartan men’s soccer team got the 2-1 win at UC San Diego on Saturday night. Angel Iniguez came up big with a goal and an assist. Gaku Nishimura helped set up both Spartan goals and finished with the first two assists of his career. Josh Redfield also had a first, scoring the first goal of his career. The Spartans will be back in action for their home opener on Thursday, hosting the University of San Francisco at 5:00pm. Click here to purchase tickets!

🔼 Our House. The volleyball team hosted a tournament this weekend and dominated. They got the win over CSUN, 3-2, before sweeping Jacksonville on Saturday. Redshirt freshman Nayeli Ti’a made her debut with 24 kills and 11 digs against CSUN. Blaire Fleming led the hitters with 15 kills over Jacksonville.

Time Traveling. San José State added home games against Jacksonville State and Kennesaw State to the 2024 non-conference football schedule. This will be the first season with seven home games since 2006.
