📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Tourney Time. The WCC Champion men’s water polo team is playing in the NCAA Tournament today for the first time in 40 years! They’ll play the three-seeded host team USC at 6pm this evening. The winner will advance to face California or Fordham in the semifinal on Saturday at 4pm. You can watch live on NCAA.com.

🔼 Ticket To Paradise. The Spartans are headed to the 2023 EasyPost Hawai’i Bowl! They’ll play against Coastal Carolina on December 23 at 7:30pm at the University of Hawai’i at Mãnoa. Chevan Cordeiro will get to play his last college football game in his home state. This will be the Spartans first Hawai’i Bowl appearance. Coach Brennan is now the first head coach to lead the Spartans to three bowl games.

🔼 All-Timers. Two former San José State football stars were named to the 25th Season Mountain West Football Team! Viliami “Junior” Fehoko and Cade Hall received the honor, both played for the Spartans from 2018-22. They helped the team to the 2020 Mountain West Championship and they were both All-Americans. They both received Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year honors. Junior was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2023 NFL Draft.

🔼  Weekend On The Court. The men’s basketball team will play at Montana tomorrow at noon on ESPN+. Trey Anderson and William Humer are coming off perfect games from the field against Cal Poly, Trey going 5-for-5 and William going 4-for-4. The women’s team will remain on the road as they take a trip to Hawai’i. They’ll be on the island of Oahu to take on Hawai’i on Sunday at 4pm.
