📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Top Dog Takedown. Spartan baseball swept the top team in the conference! The Spartan bats were alive and well at Fresno State as they hit 10 home runs out of their park. They’ve hit homers in eight-straight games. Matt Spear’s home run habits were on display, he hit one on Friday and one on Sunday. Hunter Dorrough hit one on Saturday and two on Sunday to extend his Spartan record career home run total to 38. The Spartans scored a total of nine runs in the first inning of all three games. This marks the second-straight season SJSU has swept Fresno State at their place.

🔼 Feeling Historic. The beach volleyball team went 2-2 at the Southland Conference Championship and finished the season with the most wins in school history at 14-12! They started the weekend with a 3-1 win over New Orleans before falling to Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Saturday was a new day as they opened it with a sweep of Southeastern Louisiana to advance, then fell to Houston Christian. This is the third season that the Spartans have finished with a winning record.

🔼 Sparty Party. It was a Sparty Party at the San Francisco Giants’ Spartan Night on Friday! Spartan football head coach Ken Niumatalolo was honored with throwing the first pitch, and you already know it was a strike. The university was also presented with a $10,000 donation from Habbas & Associates.

On Saturday, April 27th at 11:30 am, come and be a part of the vibrant Spartan Club atmosphere. Each ticket to Sparta Fest will include a ticket to the Baseball game vs. UNLV at 2:05pm and then check out the Women's Softball game vs. UNLV at 3:00 pm.  Don't miss out on this exciting event.
